Umeå Taste Festival
The restaurant court could be found in the middle of Renmarkst – a tent with a stage, which is the common meeting place and where different activities related to food and drink take place in the evening. There is also a Food Market where the focus is on local food produce.
You can also find a Cooking area where competitions and cooking classes on chocolate decorations and sushi take place. The chef competitions are held on Friday and Saturday afternoon. All cooking classes are ”first come, first serve”. They are free of charge and can not be booked in advance, but feel free to drop by and hopefully we can squeeze you in!
Some other events during the festival include: sake tasting, BeerStudio, a coffee class with Costas, street food with Polarbröd, beer tasting with Västerbottensost, a sausage class with Brännlands Värdshus, a photo exhibition with sami food and much more!
