Event Silesian Flavours Festival

Every year the event supported by the Silesian Tourist Organisation takes place in a different part of the region, which emphasises the culinary diversity of Silesia. Teams divided into 3 categories – amateurs, professionals and students of culinary art schools compete for the title of the Expert in Silesian Flavours and the Golden Colander prize. In addition, as always a diverse art program: concerts, cooking presentations and animations for children. Moreover, a Traditional Products Fair is organised including a presentation of restaurants on the Silesian Flavours Culinary Route. The event is crowned with the performance of the legendary Stanisław Hadyna’s ’Śląsk’ Song and Dance Ensemble.
