A land of unforgettable experiences and joy for life

Imagine a country where history and a modern spirit intertwine at every step, where mountains descend into plains and rivers sing songs. Welcome to Serbia 2026, a destination offering authentic experiences, warmth, and genuine hospitality you won’t forget. Whether you come to explore, relax, or celebrate, you can find exactly what your soul desires.

Belgrade, the city that never sleeps

The confluence of the Sava and the Danube rivers has an unforgettable energy. Belgrade is a city of free spirit, cheerful people, and endless rhythm. And when night falls, Belgrade truly awakens! River barges, clubs, bars, and kafanas make it one of the liveliest nightlife cities in the world. No wonder Lonely Planet ranked it among the top 25 experiences for 2026. If you’re looking for a city that knows how to celebrate life, you’ve found it.

Breathtaking nature

Serbia is a land where nature and people still live in harmony. In Tara National Park, deep in dense coniferous forests, you’ll find the Owl’s Forest Classroom – the first educational trail in Serbia adapted for people with disabilities. Part of the Tara for All project, opened in 2014, it shows how nature can be accessible to everyone, accompanied by the scent of fir trees and the whisper of mountain winds.

Another natural jewel has recently gained special status: Zlatar has been declared a Special Nature Reserve! Covering about 8,000 hectares, it boasts spruce, fir, and beech forests, habitats for 128 bird species, 42 mammal species, and 871 plant species. It’s part of the ecologically significant Uvac and Mileševka area, known for pristine nature and the Monastery of Saints Cosmas and Damian.

For active vacation lovers, there’s Transdinarica, an international cycling route connecting the Dinaric countries. Its paths through Serbia lead across mountains, canyons, and lakes, offering a sense of freedom and connection with nature.

Serbia: arrive as a guest, leave as a friend

Serbia produces the most expensive cheese in the world! In the Nature Reserve Zasavica, local donkeys provide milk for Pule cheese, a global delicacy. One kilogram requires 25 liters of milk, and its price exceeds 1,000 euros! Visitors can view rare animal species, enjoy the tranquil wetlands, and discover how the cheese is made.

Taste more Serbian culinary wonders: in cozy kafanas and modern bistros, taste ćevapi, sarma, kajmak, and homemade rakija, accompanied by tambura music and your hosts’ smiles.

For entertainment, prepare for a non-stop festival calendar! From jazz nights in Niš and Exit’s electronic beats in Novi Sad, to film festivals and folk celebrations, there’s always something on for music, joy, and togetherness.

What makes Serbia special? The people, who always welcome you as a friend. Authenticity, accessibility, and warmth — that’s Serbia! Every adventure becomes a memory, every story a song, and every Živeli! a new friendship.

In 2026, discover Serbia with all your senses for a journey to remember. Experience Serbia
