Feel the beat in Estonia

Summer music festivals have an energy all their own. There’s something magical about gathering with other fans to listen to artists playing their hearts out in the open air, accompanied by the wind in the trees or the waves on the shore. The vibes are even better when the festival is small enough to feel exclusive and remote enough to feel special.

These four summer music festivals in Estonia tick all the boxes — they’re set in beautiful natural locations far from the city, the accommodation options create a sense of community, and the bands are top-notch.

Pack your dancing shoes and visit Estonia this summer!

Kikumu Cultural Festival — 9 to 12 July 2026

The setting of the Kikumu Cultural Festival is one of its main attractions. It’s held at the Jäneda Learning Center, a Soviet-era structure built next to a brick manor home from the early 20th century. In addition to concerts and DJ sets from local and international artists, there are film screenings and art exhibitions, for a truly immersive cultural experience. Festival goers can stay at the retro-rustic Nelijärve Holiday Center

I Land Sound — 16 to 19 July 2026

It’s said that time flies when you’re having fun; at I Land Sound, it seems to stop altogether. On Saaremaa, the only time that matters is island time! This electronic music festival attracts visitors who like their beats with a side of sand and sun. Orissaare, the village where the festival is held, also has a small marina, so you can even come by boat!

Leigo Lake Music Festival — 30 July to 1 August 2026

Classical music has never been this cool! With a stage set in a lake in the countryside near Otepää, Leigo Lake Music Festival makes the most of the surrounding landscape. The festival features choral and chamber music, contemporary composers, and even experimental sounds created especially for the festival. Don’t miss the first day, as it kicks off with a magical sound journey through the forest.

Treski Fest — 7 to 9 August 2026

Deep in the heart of South Estonia, Treski Fest is guaranteed fun for all ages. Festivalgoers move between multiple stages, and some events go all day, from morning yoga to talks about local Seto culture. There are camping, glamping, and caravan sites for overnight stays, which are highly recommended, so you can take some time to explore Setomaa and learn more about the area’s unique history.
