If you’re a seasoned hiker, you should be aware that the National Blue Trail was the first long-distance walking trail in both Hungary and Europe and takes you through the romantic wilderness of the Mátra and Bükk Mountains. One of the places it visits is Kékestető – the highest point in the country – where you will find exciting things to do all year round, with tours of different difficulty levels.
