Night Open Cellars or Wine in Orange
The city of Pavlovice is famous for apricots and wine. Every year summer here starts with the Apricot Fest, which includes a wine event called Wine in Orange and Night of Open Cellars. Winegrowers open their cellars in the late afternoon for testing their young and vintage wines. The evening is given over to a cymbal party, but winegrowers are open until midnight and the glowing climax for a pleasant day is a fireworks show.
Hudečka Andrew Vinkler will play and sing music in the cellar. Winemakers and local restaurants will provide snacks and apricot specialties.
The price of admission is CZK 550. The ticket includes unlimited tasting in all open cellars, tasting glass, wine list with a map of the city, open wine cellars, restaurants, etc. There is a free shuttle service from / to the communities of the Blue Mountains and Rakvice Winery.
