Treat your partner to a cozy weekend away

February is the perfect month to spark a new relationship or rekindle an old one. Not only does the month include the year’s most romantic holiday, Valentine’s Day, but Estonia’s snowy weather is also ideal for a steam in the sauna or relaxing in an outdoor hot tub.

Outside may be cold, so snuggle up with your partner in one of these cozy romantic getaways in Estonia.

Romantic stays for foodies

Is the way to your heart through your stomach? These accommodation options in Estonia for couples have MICHELIN-recommended restaurants on-site or nearby.

  • e-Kolga Farm offers rural romantic getaways in South Estonia. Look up at the stars through the unique glass pyramid, and warm up in the private sauna or outdoor hot tub. Kolm Sõsarat, a MICHELIN Green Star restaurant, is about 30 minutes away.
  • ÖÖD Hotels Lohusalu is a cozy, mirrored cabin less than a ten-minute drive from Wicca, the MICHELIN-recommended restaurant at LaSpa Hotel in Laulasmaa. For an extra dash of romance, combine your stay with a visit to the Arvo Pärt Centre.
  • Taju Kupliaas are innovative, dome-shaped holiday homes hidden away in nature, only 30 minutes from Tallinn. In addition to the luxurious overnight stay, you can indulge in a multicourse meal at Hiis Restaurant, another of Estonia’s MICHELIN Green Star restaurants. Taju also offers specially created outdoor picnics, ideal for a proposal in a beautiful outdoor setting.
  • Maidla Nature Villa KÄBI embodies natural elegance. The facade is reminiscent of pinecones from the surrounding forest, and the outdoor jacuzzi is ideal for watching the snow fall. Make reservations for a romantic dinner at SOO, Maidla’s MICHELIN-recommended restaurant.

  • Midnight Vacation mini villa offers the opportunity to soak in a hot tub and steam in a sauna in the evening, and wake up to a glittering, snow-covered forest.
