It’s about time

The past year has probably had you dreaming of getting away from it all, away from the news, from rushed routines, from increasing prices and decreasing social connections.

Even if you manage to get away, you still need to choose a destination. Whether you have enough vacation days for a weekend escape or a week-long or even month-long adventure, you’ll probably wish for more time; more time to explore and more time to switch off.

As one of Europe’s smallest and least densely populated countries and one of the world’s most digitally advanced societies, Estonia gives you more of what you’re looking for — time. So why not make Estonia your 2026 dream destination? Our compact size, effortless accessibility, and slower pace of life will give you more time to spend on what matters.

Travel through time while you stroll down the street

Step off the plane and into the past — it’s just ten minutes from the airport to Tallinn’s World Heritage Old Town. In Estonia, medieval and modern stand side by side. Factories once on the brink of collapse have been converted into world-class museums. Castle ruins have been shored up to showcase Estonia’s long history. Warehouses become creative hubs, and every street is a bridge between centuries. Everything here is close, yet nothing feels crowded.

Lose track of time to make your holiday feel longer

During the summer, Estonia’s white nights seem to stretch out the hours in a day. With birds for company, you might start feeling like Snow White, though we bet Snow White never had 5G in the forest! If you prefer nature in small doses, then the city is just a hop, skip, and a jump away. Travel is so effortless that you’ll  stop watching the clock and start listening to your body, which will probably tell you to spend time in a sauna. Our innovative startups may bring the world closer together, but there’s still nothing like our original social network. When the steam rises off the rocks, Estonians open up, and you’ll  discover a deeper connection between our culture and yours.

Find space to breathe and time to reflect

The black nights of Estonia’s autumn and winter are perfect for stepping away from the rat race. Book a location outside the city, deep in the forest, or along the coast to let the waves shush you to sleep. On a clear night, you may even be lucky enough to watch the Northern Lights dance through the sky. The deeper you go into the forest, the quieter it gets — perfect for wildlife watching. Spend the night in a well-hidden hut, built for spotting brown bears, moose, wild boar, and occasionally the elusive lynx — then wake up to a symphony of birdsong.

Whether you’re here for a weekend or a few unhurried weeks, Estonia gives you the rarest luxury of all — the time and space to travel at your own pace. Because here, every minute saved becomes a moment well spent.
