Event Puppets Occupy the Street Festival

Live an unique experience in Craiova, the main city of Oltenia historical region, at the Puppets Occupy the Street Festival, the first art animation festival in Romania.

For 8 days the city of Craiova will transform itself into a magic land where the giant puppets and over 400 events will bring to life the theme of this year, Steampunk, a subgenre of science fiction and speculative fiction that incorporates retro-futuristic technology and aesthetics.

There will be over 150 artists and theatre companies from 15 countries participating at this international event, which includes performances, workshops, concerts, exhibitions, video projection, video mapping, visual arts, fine arts, street animation, etc., taking place in different spaces from the city.
