Napoli Pizza Village
Come enjoy one of Italy’s most famous creations, the pizza. The Napoli Pizza Village is the world’s largest event dedicated entirely to the eating of pizza.
From watching dough-throwing experts to concerts, music and dance, there’s lots more to Pizza Village than simply gorging yourself on pizza. Take a master class on how to make the perfect pizza, or simply stuff yourself full with other people’s triumphs!
One of the highlights of the event is the World Pizza Maker Championship, which takes place during the first two days of the festival. Pizza makers from all over Italy travel to Naples to compete with the city’s most highly trained pizza makers to see who really makes the best pizza. At the end of the week long celebration, a picky, pizza-loving jury proclaims the best pizzaiolo in the world, also by taking into account the opinion of the audience.
