Sleep luxuriously in nature

With its seaside, mountains, and lakes, Poland is a haven for those who love to relax in comfort while being close to nature.  Glamping is a luxurious version of camping, where you stay at campsites located in charming locations, away from the crowds. Nothing better combines comfort and direct contact with nature.

In the heart of the Karkonosze Mountains in the locality of Borowice lies Kalevala, the world’s only Finnish village outside Finland. Guests can enjoy 20 heated tents year-round, a separate tent where to light campfires, tree tents, and Leikkimokki — a Moomin house with a full set of dishes and furniture, which, besides a bedroom, also has a special playroom for children.

Admire the beauty of the Polish mountains from modern spherical tents, among others, at Tatra Glamp Bukowina Tatrzańska or Tatra Glamp Tarasówka in the village of Małe Ciche. The tents feature comfortable beds, heating, bathrooms with showers, and kitchenettes. Many trails in the area are ideal for hiking and mountain climbing.

Glamping is not only sleeping in tents. Tree houses are a fun idea for adults and kids. One place offering such accommodation is W Drzewach in Nałęczów. You can’t get closer to nature than this: panoramic windows and glass roofs allowing you to observe the surroundings without interruption. The attractions of the Nałęczów health resort and the charming town of Kazimierz Dolny guarantee a slow-paced holiday. This is also the Land of Loess Gorges, the region in Europe with the largest concentration of gorges.

Do you wish to wake up to the sound of the waves and admire sunsets from your bed? Both await in the luxurious floating homes of Marina Grand HT Houseboats in Mielno-Unieście, on the waters of Lake Jamno, just 300 meters from the beach.  Be close to nature and far from the city’s hustle and bustle.

Charming and unusual campsites are abundant on the Polish coast, particularly in Hel and on the entire Hel Peninsula. In Chałupy, a favorite spot for surfers, conditions are perfect for kite- and windsurfing. Notable local camping sites include Chałupy 6, Kaper, and Ekolaguna. For those who appreciate even more peace and relaxation with family, the Sosnowa campsite awaits in the nearby Jurata. Władysławowo is a popular destination with Polish holidaymakers and has a beautiful camping area. Horyzont Camp, whose biggest advantage is its location, lies near the beach.

Moving away from the sea, the Land of a Thousand Lakes in Masuria is a real paradise for sailors and people seeking active recreation. One of the campsites well worth visiting is Aura in Rydzewo near the town of Giżycko. It’s situated on Lake Niegocin and is an ideal place to unwind and leave the crowds behind. Camping Cezar in Mrągowo on the Czos Lake is a good choice for a getaway and an ideal starting point for exploring the area. Mrągowo is an interesting, sizable town in Masuria where no one gets bored.
