Experience a Transylvanian Brunch
The Transylvanian Brunch series brings together local food, rural hospitality and cultural traditions in villages across Transylvania.
Typically held from 11 a.m. to around 4:30 p.m., each event combines three elements: a shared meal, an introduction to the village and its surroundings, and optional workshops focusing on local crafts, cooking or culture.
The buffet features at least 15 regional specialties prepared by village hosts using seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. Many dishes are connected to local celebrations and culinary traditions. Guests gather around large communal tables, creating an opportunity to share both food and conversation. Music, dance and other forms of living cultural heritage may also form part of the experience.
Visitors are also invited to explore the village and nearby attractions. Learning about the landscape, local history and the people who live there adds another layer of meaning to the food being served.
