Among the most famous specialties are kuglof, a typical local cake whose tradition is proudly kept here, as well as Bermet, the famed Karlovci dessert wine with a unique and irresistible aroma. Apart from food and drinks stands there are also handicrafts, artworks, and souvenirs produced by local artisans. The magnificence of the old town square with the festive lights and music is occasionally interrupted by the romantic chiming of bells from the many surrounding churches.
