At the end of July, the fields near the town of Kostrzyn nad Odrą in northwestern Poland become the setting for the Pol’and’Rock Festival, organized annually by the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity.
The event features multiple stages with live music—from rock and metal to reggae and folk—alongside workshops, social gatherings, and a large campground. The festival is rooted in volunteerism and community participation, bringing together people who share an interest in music, creativity, and social engagement. Open spaces and temporary installations create opportunities for visitors to discover performances, crafts, and discussions while connecting with others in the festival community. Admission and camping in the “wild field” are free, with optional paid services including Rock Camp amenities, meals, and showers.
The site can be reached by train from Szczecin or by bus from Gorzów Wielkopolski, making it accessible from larger cities in the region. Many visitors also explore nearby forests and lakes in the Lubuskie region.
