Traditionally held in Vilnius around St. Casimir’s Day, in the lead-up to Easter, Kaziukas Fair is Lithuania’s largest outdoor spring event.
Held over three days, from Friday to Sunday, the fair brings together vendors and artisans from across the Baltics and beyond. Hundreds of stalls fill the city with handmade goods, including smoked meats and fish, woven baskets, amber jewelry, pottery, leather goods, paintings, and traditional crafts.
One of the fair’s most distinctive items is the verba: a decorative Easter palm made from dried grasses, flowers, and ferns. It is a beloved symbol of the season and a unique part of Lithuanian tradition.
Popular with locals and visitors alike, the fair is a lively way to experience Lithuanian culture, meet artisans, and sample local food. Street vendors serve regional dishes, snacks, and locally brewed beer throughout the event.
