The Grape Harvest festival, declared of International Tourist Interest, takes place in Jerez de la Frontera, in September, and pays tribute to the region’s rich winemaking tradition. For several days, the city becomes a vibrant cultural stage where wine, flamenco, and equestrian art take center stage, creating a unique and festive atmosphere.
The program includes emblematic events such as the traditional grape treading ceremony, symbolizing the beginning of wine production, along with wine tastings, winery tours, and a wide variety of cultural activities. Visitors can also enjoy flamenco performances, horse shows, concerts, and gastronomic experiences that highlight local products and traditions.
These festivities offer an excellent opportunity to discover the heritage of Jerez de la Frontera, such as its Cathedral and Alcázar, its strong connection to wine culture, and its lively character, making it an ideal destination for those seeking wine tourism and authentic Andalusian experiences.
