Each November, the city of Eindhoven hosts GLOW, an outdoor light art festival that transforms the city center into a large open-air exhibition. During the event, buildings, public spaces, and streets are illuminated with light installations, projections, and interactive artworks created by artists and designers from the Netherlands and abroad.

Visitors follow a walking route of several kilometers through the city, discovering artworks installed on historic buildings, squares, and along the Dommel river. The festival reflects Eindhoven’s long connection with design, technology, and innovation, often bringing together artists, students, engineers, and local creative communities.

GLOW usually takes place over one week in November, with installations visible after dark. The event is free to attend and easily accessible from Eindhoven Central Station, which sits close to the main festival route.
