Every Thursday in July and August (Wednesday if Thursday is a public holiday), the folk market takes place in the center of Bulle. It’s a great opportunity to pick up fresh fruits, vegetables and a wide range of local products.

More than just a farmers market, the event also features crafts, secondhand goods and book stalls. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with traditional music concerts held in the market square.

Each week, visitors can also discover how the famous Gruyère cheese is made at a small chalet run by the Confrérie du Gruyère, located beneath the bandstand.
