Carnaval Sztukmistrzow takes place each summer in Lublin. The event focuses on contemporary circus and street arts, bringing together performers, artists, and visitors from across Europe and beyond.

Visitors can expect street performances, circus shows, theatre acts, workshops, and fire shows presented in public spaces throughout the city. The programme also includes Urban Highline, one of the largest highline festivals in the world, where athletes walk on suspended lines between buildings. Together, these events create an opportunity to experience contemporary performance art in an open urban setting.

The festival has become one of the most important annual cultural events in Lublin, a city preparing to serve as a European Capital of Culture in 2029. Most events are free and take place in the streets, squares, and parks of Lublin’s historic centre.

Selected performances are ticketed and held in theatres or a circus tent. The area can be reached on foot from the main railway and bus stations, and visitors often combine the festival with exploring the Old Town.
