Soak up Monaco's history

The famous adage, size doesn’t matter, certainly applies in the case of Monaco! Even though it’s one of the smallest countries in the world, Monaco delivered on what’s important and what I was looking for: sun, sea-views, delicious food, and a fascinating history to explore!

I just finished an unforgettable trip to this old principality. What were my favorite experiences? I loved exploring the Monaco Cathedral and the St. Nicholas Church, which dates to 1875 and is the final resting place of Grace Kelly and her husband, Prince Rainier III. Another can’t-miss building is the Saint-Charles Church in the Renaissance style from 1883. When you visit, make sure to catch the nineteen stained glass windows, which illuminate the structure and lend it a glimmering, peaceful aura.

For more insights watch my chat with Elena Porta, a local tourist guide in Monaco, giving insights about this unique city and where to have a drink while watching the sunset!
