Jazz in the Park
The festival started in 2013 with the mission to promote positive values in the community, using music and art in general, to inspire people be more attentive, more caring, happier, more relaxed. It takes place in the National Ethnographic Park “Romulus Vuia” of Cluj-Napoca, the biggest city of the historical region of Transylvania. The park was founded in 1929 as the first park of its kind in Romania, and it belongs to the Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography. It covers over 12 hectares and houses over 200 exhibits. During the festival every house and every yard comes to life, as there are stages, restaurants, recreational activities and relaxation areas set up all over the park. The festival is limited to 7000 participants per day and hosts approximately 40 concerts spread across 4 stages. In 2023 it was nominated for the 5th time in the first 10 Best Small Festivals by European Festival Awards.
