Become a master chocolatier for a day

Belgian chocolate is a feast for your senses. In Flanders, you will discover the history, aromas, and flavors of this iconic delicacy. You can also roll up your sleeves and take part in a delightful chocolate workshop to become a chocolatier for a day.

Anyone visiting Flanders will meet a population that loves life and gastronomy. Good food and drink are very high up on the list of Flemish priorities, and a love of flavor is integral to the Flemish identity — just think of the iconic Belgian beers, fries and Belgian chocolate! A visit to Flanders is not complete until you have seen, smelled and, above all, tasted these delights.

These culinary riches are well worth experiencing. Take Belgian chocolate for example: Did you know that the praline was invented in Brussels? In 1912, chocolatier Jean Neuhaus created the very first filled chocolate bonbon in his studio in the Queen’s Gallery in the center of the capital. In this elegant arcade you will find several shops of the very best chocolatiers in Belgium , and thus in the world.
