Get to know the Finnish Santa Claus

Far up in the North of Finland, in the heart of Arctic magic where winters are crisp and cold lives one of the world’s most well-known citizens – Santa Claus. With his flowing white beard, iconic red suit, and a troop of little helpers, he might be a mysterious fellow to many. However, fear not, a journey to Finnish Lapland presents a unique experience to meet him in person and pose all your burning questions! Understandably, encountering someone this famous might leave you feeling awe-struck, but rest assured: Santa is a genuinely kind spirit, thrilled to meet you just as you are!

Finland – Santa’s Home

Forget the North Pole! While he insists that he has flown over the North Pole many times, Santa Claus – or joulupukki as he is called in Finland – in fact he calls mysterious Korvatunturi (“Ear Fell”) up north in Finnish Lapland home. Rumor has it that his cozy log house is open to all forest animals and gnomes, and his favorite place to relax is in his armchair in front of the fireplace. If you want to meet him, though, head to his official office instead!
