Pyrenees Artisan Cheese Fair

Since 1995, the Seu d’Urgell becomes every autumn the head of the house and cheeses of the Pyrenees. This is coinciding with the ancient Fair St. Armengol. From Basque shepherds and artisans from Iparralde, Gascony, Aragon and all Pyrenees region of Catalonia, the fair becomes once again a must for cheese lovers.

Professionals and gourmets from around the country are attracted by the presence of the producers and the activities planned around the cheese.

At the fair are present over forty cheesamakers that produce 150 varieties of cheese. One hundred of these cheeses will be submitted to the competition.
